The Bays are a quaint garden walk up family community with a bit of charm but showing subtle signs of weathering. The exterior is a combination of cedar shake planking and durable red brick. The lower level homes have huge enclosed patios and the upstairs have open breezeways shared by adjacent neighbors. The patio railings have chipping paint and there is some clutter left by current residents. The grounds are landscaped with huge bull rocks that spill over onto the sidewalks. The pools are oversized but on our inspection were unclean and had outdated and broken pool furniture. The community amenities are sparse. There is also a playground located in the center of the property. The interiors have older appliances and very small bathrooms and kitchens. There were upgraded light fixtures and durable window blinds and very large closets. The bedrooms have sunk in bay window that allow lots of natural light and the wall paint is upgraded with nice neutral tan tones.
