Clear Lake Village is a dated apartment complex that is showing its age. While it may be a convenient location, the wear and tear are obvious and the exterior appears tired. There are some visible repairs being done but they are a matter of necessity and not for upgrade purposes. The property is not uniform and has buildings being painted different colors, rotting trim and rusted covered parking. There are pot holes and cracks spread out all over the parking and walking area. While walking on our inspection there were people visibly loitering and panhandling. Although they offer a few upgraded units for more money the upgrades are minimal and do not make a major difference in quality. The interiors show signs of damage from previous water intrusion and the carpets smell of smoke and mildew. The appliances do not match and are very dated. The closets are quite large but there are no patios or exterior storage.
